Haiti - FLASH : Notice to American visa applicants in Haiti

In a note, the United States Embassy in Port-au-Prince recalls that it is in "Mandatory Departure" status, and that a large part of the American personnel had to leave, we are currently working only with emergency staff.

The reduction in staff is impacting our ability to provide routine consular services.

Services dealing with Non-Immigrant and Immigrant (Residency) visas are suspended until further notice.

An email will be sent with the new appointment dates once they have been established.

DNA collection (for testing to verify relationships between two or more people to assess whether they are biologically related and eligible) for immigrant visas and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services cases (USCI) is suspended until further notice.

We will continue to process adoption files as much as conditions allow.
