Armored vehicles and assault rifles delivered to the PNH

On Wednesday August 30, 2023, 6 new armored vehicles ordered from the Canadian company "Inkas" were delivered by sea to Haiti. These vehicles reinforce the operational capacity of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in the fight against organized crime. In addition, 500 assault rifles arrived for the PNH and other protective equipment for the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAD'H).

The National Police of Haiti (PNH) confirms the death of the gang leader of Cité Doudoune, in the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets, mortally wounded in exchanges of fire with the police.

Artists flee Carrefour-Feuilles

About 10 artists received financial support.

CARICOM emissaries expected in Haiti

CARICOM envoys are expected in Port-au-Prince next week. They will come to try once again to bring the Haitian actors to find an agreement to resolve the crisis that is shaking their country. The visit of the delegation, scheduled for September 4 to 10, will take place one week before a meeting of the United Nations Security Council which will have to decide on a resolution authorizing the deployment of a multinational force in Haiti.
