Shooting on the "Gros Wòch" square, 3 dead and wounded

On Saturday September 10, 2022, numerous shots were reported in the public square "Gros Wòch" in Bon Repos 2 between national road #1 and the entrance to Lilavois (Commune of Croix-des-Bouquets). At least 3 dead including the DJ. Dorcé Mix and several wounded. For the moment, we do not know who the perpetrators of these shots are and the reason for this bloody shooting...

Where are the ordered weapons ?

Jean Victor Généus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs received earlier this week a United Nations security consultation delegation visiting Haiti. IOM : Risks of Irregular Migration

The International Organization for Migration (IOM - Haiti) in partnership with the National Office for Migration (ONM) has launched an awareness campaign "Pale Verite" which aims to raise awareness of the risks of irregular migration in Anse- at-Pitres. IOM made an intervention on a local radio station to promote legal migration and organized workshops with community members and also discussions with children and teachers in schools.

Seizure of contraband cigarettes
