Haiti - Politic : Criminal plot to eliminate 4 political figures
In correspondence, Me Jacques Lafontant, Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince informs the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) that the Public Prosecutor's Office has information which reveals that four political figures, including 3 from the radical opposition, are threatened by a criminal attack as part of a conspiracy.
The personalities concerned are : Me Andre Michel (Spokesperson of the radical opposition of the movement called "Democratic and Popular Sector" - SDP); former Lavalas Senator Nenel Cassy (one of the SDP leaders); Marjory Michel (member of the executive board of the SDP) and former Senator Edmonde Supplice Beauzile (President of the Fusion des socio-democrats).
According to Me Lafontant, an ex-policeman and another individual, both residents of Pétion-ville, were hired as executors.
