Haiti - FLASH : Armed individuals attack and loot the Grand-Ravine Sub-police station

On Monday February 15 in the morning, heavily armed individuals attacked and looted the Grande Ravine (Martissant) sub-police station.

After entering the sub-police station, the bandits brutalized and threatened the police officers who were there, disarmed them and looted the premises taking with them before fleeing, in addition to the police officers' weapons, two Galil rifles and a rifle M4 (3 automatic assault weapons), a 12 gauge rifle, several handguns, tear gas grenades and bulletproof vests among others...

Reacting to this Rockefeller Vincent attack, the Minister of Justice and Public Security informed "I instructed the Director General of the Haitian National Police to restore order to the Grand-Ravine sub-station attacked by armed bandits."

After the attack, the police, in shock, abandoned the sub-station.

Fortunately, no loss of life is to be deplored.
