Haiti - Politic : The radical opposition warns «Religion for Peace»

While the inter Religious religious platform "Religions for Peace Haiti" solicited by the President Jovenel Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28857-haiti-politic-jovenel-moise-solicits-religions-for-peace-as-facilitator-of-the-dialogue.html to act as facilitator of the dialogue, has not yet given his answer, Schiler Louidor (Famni Lavalas) one of the spokesmen of the radical opposition of the movement known as "Democratic Sector and popular" launch a warning "We would not have liked Religions for Peace to be added to the list of people who have no credibility in the country [...] We will not dialogue with Jovenel Moïse and we give no mandate to Religions for Peace."

Senator Youri Latortue agrees, said on a radio of the capital "Religions for Peace can not accept the unacceptable. The only thing it can do is help prepare for an orderly departure of President Jovenel Moïse."

Moreover, in a note, the Islamic community in Haiti, "rejects any representation of the Muslim religion, whether Sunni or Shiite" in "Religions For Peace" saying "in no case, we can agree to embark on the boat of the oppressors to the detriment of the oppressed." The leader of the Shiite community takes the opportunity to reiterate and strengthen its commitment alongside the Haitian people in its resistance to dignity.
