Haiti - Petit-Goâve : A 6-year-old girl spends 15 days at the sub-police station

Thursday a 6-year-old girl abandoned in Morne Tapion and recovered by the Police of Petit-Goâve after spending 15 days at the sub-police station finally found her mother.

Recall that in the evening of March 13 at around 8:00 pm the Police of Petit-Goave found a little girl Roselineda Lindor alone and in tears on the national road #2 at Morne Tapion. For 15 days, the police took care of the girl's food and maintenance.

Informed of the presence of a minor at the sub-police station, a team of the Organization of Progressive Women for the Advancement of Haiti (OFPAH) went to the scene to see the child and allow her mother to recover her.

On Thursday, March 29, the mother, Laurie Lindor (21 years old) contacted by the OFPAH who gave her advice, came to get her daughter and thank the police for saving the life of her child.

The young mother explained to the microphone of Radio Préférence, that she had confided a few months ago, at the request of her niece Roselaure (29 years old) the guard of her daughter, so that she could go elsewhere seek wellness on the advice of her niece, before her niece abandoning her daughter on March 13 on RN2...
