Haiti - Technology : Competition for the best digital tools to strengthen governance

The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Transparency International, French International Cooperation and Liberty Living-Lab are launching a competition to identify the best digital tools to strengthen governance in developing countries.

The Digital and Transparency Prize will reward the best digital tools to curb corruption and developed by civil society (individuals and organizations). It will strengthen and promote existing initiatives in support of democratic governance in Francophone developing countries, in three categories: openness of data for the transparency of public action; citizen control for good governance; and a tool for preventing and combating corruption.

In addition, the French incubator of civil and social technological innovation and the Liberté Living-Lab, will offer to one or more of the candidate projects a free three-month residence on its premises in Paris.

The designation of the winners will be ensured by a jury composed of experts from the digital sector and the anti-corruption movement. All applications from developing countries, using innovative digital tools to stop corruption, will be examined.
