Haiti - Politic : Abel Nazaire begins a tour of sports facilities

Friday, Abel Nazaire, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action began a tour of sports facilities across the country, which began with the Carrefour Sports Centre and Gymnasium Vincent, accompanied by Valiollah St Louis Gilmus, the Director General of the Ministry.

Accompanied by Jacques Hans Vilfort, head of the Carrefour Sports Centre , the Minister Nazaire visited various football fields, tennis courts, gymnasium, the Park Édouard Baker, the pool, the athletics track and the weight room under development.

Herve Saintilus led the visit of the Gymnasium Vincent who allowed the Minister to inspect the training room of Judo, play spaces and locker rooms.

Inquiring about the work in progress and interventions required by the different sports facilities, Abel Nazaire encouraged those responsible to awareness young people for they use these sports facilities.

Also during his visit, he met with various groups of athletes reminding them that "To be a good athlete, a solid academic background must accompany the talent."

This meeting also allowed the Minister to meet the staff of these sports facilities around the improvement of their working conditions, of the payment of several months of salary arrears and various administrative problems.
