As part of the academic year 2015-2016 decreed by the Ministry of National Education "Année Gouverneurs de la rosée" (Year Gouverneurs de la rosée), as a prelude to the commemoration of 200 years of Alexandre Pétion High School (LAP), the Workshop Frankétienne and the directorate of the LAP launched this week at the auditorium of the school, the first performance of educational show "De ville en ville" (From city to city).

This initiative aimed at pay tribute to the Haitian writers, including to Jacques Roumain, Haitian author of the famous novel "Gouverneurs de la rosée", is part of a national school tour, organized by the Workshop Frankétienne.

The G5 Collective (slams - poems and music education) also charmed the audience with several presentations including "Dialogue imaginaire avec Compère Général Soleil", a text made from the book titles produced exclusively in French by major iconic figuresof the Haitian literature and "Pwezi lang ak" (Poetry and language), a text made from the book titles produced exclusively in Creole by large Haitian literary iconic figures, and finally "Pwovèb lakay" (proverbs from home) a text giving off a deep reflection from the Haitian proverbs.
