At the XXII Central American and Caribbean Games that take place in Veracruz, Mexico, from November 14 to 30, Haiti has already won 3 medals, one in judo and 2 in weightlifting.

Judo 1 medal :

Thursday Linouse Desravine won a bronze medal in Judo, Women category (52kg).

In his first combat (1/4 final) she faced at the World Trade Center Veracruz, the Nicaraguan Vicky Fonseca, and won by decision at 3:00' (000 - 000S3) her opponent having made 3 Shidos ;

For her second combat he faced the Cuban Yanet Bermoy, and won the fight with 1 Shido (0:40) in 4:00.

At her last combat she faced Venezuelan Jormary Palmas, and won by ippon in 1:02 (001-100), and got the bronze medal.

In this category, the gold was obtained by the Cuban Yanet Bermoy the silver by the Dominican María Garcia, the first bronze by Monica Hernandez, and the second bronze in the repechage by Linouse Desravine.

Athletics 2 medals :

Thursdays in weightlifting, Luciano Edouar Joseph, in clean and jerk category man (56 kg) obtained the bronze medal with a score of 135 (he missed his first attempt at 135 kg, managed 135kg in his second attempt and missed his third attempt at 140kg)

The Colombian Carlos Andres Berna got the gold, the Dominican Luis Garcia the silver and Luciano Edouar Joseph the bronze.

That same day, Luciano Edouar Joseph, in the snatch has obtained the bronze medal with a score of 110 (105kg on his first attempt, 110 kg in his second and missed the third at 111kg).

The Colombian Carlos Andres Berna got the gold, the Dominican Luis Garcia the silver and Luciano Edouar Joseph the bronze.

Football :

Mondays in women's football, the grenadières faced Trinidad and Tobago, a game that has ended in a draw (1-1) with a goal of the Haitian Roselord Borgella to the 27' and Patrice Campbell (Trinidad and -Tobago) to the 51'.

On Tuesday, the Haitian women's team faced the Colombia and bowed inglorious 3-0. The same day, the U-20 men, faced Venezuela where it was crushed 4-0.
