Haiti - Politic : Laurent Lamothe calls for a partnership between foreign and Haitian entrepreneurs

Wednesday on the sidelines of the 69th regular session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe participated in the annual session of the Clinton Global Initiative on Haiti, which took place at the Hotel Sheraton Manhattan, attended by many politicians and businessmen, including former United States President Bill Clinton, entrepreneurs Paul Farmer, Denis O'Brien and the owner of NRJ, David Green.

This meeting was an opportunity for the Head of Government to plead with entrepreneurs and other personalities, for the maintenance of their commitments to Haiti in order to help sustain the actions of the State aimed at put the country on the path of progress and development. He called for an approach focused on a partnership between foreign entrepreneurs and the Haitian private sector, to boost the process of job creation and permanently change the lives of the population.

Bill Clinton, also speaking at this important meeting on the future of Haiti, said that "it is the most decisive Government with whom I had to work for a long time". One way to highlight the progress made in the country since the election of President Martelly and the coming of government Lmaothe.
