Haiti - Politic : Demonstration in Petit-Goâve and threats against our correspondent

Thursday the local chapters of the opposition protested through the streets of Petit-Goâve under heavy escort of the National Police of Haiti and Minustah, brandishing a red card and throwing slogans against the Mayor Sandra Jules and the Deputy Jacques Stevenson Thimoléon.

The protesters demanded the revocation of the mayor of Petit-Goâve, whom they accuse of misappropriation of public funds and said they will continue their protest movement until the departure of Mrs. Jules.
