Haiti - Politic : Lavalas anti-governmental Demonstration

Saturday, as part of the commemoration of the 27th anniversary of the Constitution of 1987, several thousands of people, responding to the call for mobilization, of the coordination West of Fanmi Lavalas, marched in the streets of Port-au-Prince, demanding the resignation of President Michel Martelly.

The protesters holding placards and chanting slogans against the government, denounced in bulk: the anti-democratic abuses, violations of the Constitution, government corruption and also challenged the El Rancho agreement reached under the mediation of the Episcopal Conference of Haiti (CEH), presided by Cardinal Chibly Langlois.
