Haiti - Security : The former chief of the rebels «Ti sam» executed on the NR2

On the night of 4 to Thursday, 5 December 2013, the former chef of "rebels" of Curtis. Pepage Pierre, aka "Ti sam" was shot several times in the locality of Magot-Marion of Petit-Goâve.

Recall that "Ti Sam" with 3 other chiefs "rebels" had voluntarily handed their weapons Sunday, November 24 to the two mediators : Father Miguel Auguste and Me Deus Jean François and apologized to the country for the wrongs done to the people.

According to testimony obtained, "Ti Sam" with two other individuals, was at a houngan in Mango-Marion, when several gunmen emerged and taken Ti Sam and his accolites on the National Road #2 (NR2) where they were shot by several bullets.

The news broke early in the town of Petit-Goâve and was confirmed "Ti Sam" is indeed dead. The victims' bodies have been removed, however, the police of Petit-Goâve refrained to comment on this information.

The reasons for these executions are not known, but let us remember that on November 24, the Chiefs of the "rebels" had declared "We have been manipulated and supported by armed persons from other parts of the country," maybe this execution was intended to silence "Ti Sam" and protect hands hidden [unidentified] behind this case...
